Entry level Positions – THE JETs Program for Entry level aspirants
Introduction Gulf Oil has a unique entry level program – Junior Executive Trainees (JETs) which we have recently introduced. This program offers candidates with engineering degrees & seeking entry level opportunities a career opportunity of joining us for a 6 month training stint that involves taking up positions in sales, marketing & technical departments. Our endeavour is to ensure structured learning & on-the-job training in the first year followed by role based assignments in the next 2 years to enable the JETs to take on managerial roles in the organization.
Mentoring Each trainee will be assigned a mentor who is a senior executive in the Company. The mentoring relationship will help the trainee’s entry and growth in the organization.
Evaluation and FeedbackTrainees will go through a structured appraisal process on a quarterly basis by their project guide/s and feedback will be given to the trainee.
Selection Process Identified Engineering Institutes will be approached in advance and a panel of senior executives will visit the campuses. The process of selection will involve a written test, group discussion and interview. All selected trainees will join Gulf Oil on a specified date and go through an intensive induction program.
